Privacy policy

Site data and local storage
The site has no site analytics, visitor accounts, forms or server-side game saves. Cursor effects use page memory. Motion and game animation preferences and Ember Depths saves, including a save timestamp, stay in your browser’s local storage until replaced or cleared. Minesweeper uses page memory. These data are used to run the site and resume your game, not sent to an Adam’s Lab database. Clear this site’s data in your browser settings to remove local saves and preferences.
YouTube playback
The Media Player uses YouTube API Services. It does not load YouTube scripts or an embedded video until you agree to this policy and the player terms and press Play. Your choice is held only for this open player session, not saved or sent to Adam’s Lab.
Loading YouTube lets YouTube/Google receive your IP address, browser/device information, site origin and video/playback interactions. YouTube may store or access cookies or similar technology on your device, process usage information and serve advertisements. The player uses youtube-nocookie.com privacy-enhanced embeds, which reduce personalization but do not mean no data is collected. The YouTube API script runs in this page with page privileges. Third-party processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.
The site does not request your Google credentials, use Google account authorization, or collect your YouTube account/profile data through the API. The player sends selected video IDs and playback commands to YouTube. Adam’s Lab does not keep a visitor playback-history database.
Your choices
You can decline embedded playback and continue using the rest of the site. Close, Disconnect YouTube or uncheck the acknowledgement to destroy the video frame and reset the choice; Minimize only pauses playback. Loaded YouTube code remains in page memory until you reload or leave. Disconnecting does not erase Google-held data or browser cookies. Use your browser’s site-data controls and Google’s privacy controls for those data. “Watch on YouTube” and social links navigate to external platforms under their own policies.
Hosting and contact
The public site is hosted through a Texas-based provider. Hosting and delivery infrastructure receives network requests and may keep access/security logs, including IP addresses and request details. Provider retention and all processing/backup locations have not yet been confirmed; this policy does not promise a specific deletion schedule. The private review copy uses its hosting platform’s sign-in infrastructure.
